Although the Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 is being manufactured by Bugatti Automobiles, it was actually designed by the Volkswagen Group as a mid-engined sports car. Before the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, the Veyron EB 16.4 was the world’s fastest street-legal production car, with a 253.81 mph top speed. No wonder Top Gear, the popular BBC television programme, dubbed the EB 16.4 the “Car of the Decade.” The Veyron EB 16.4 even reached a top speed of 254.04 mph against the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse back in 2013, and is currently worth $2.7 million.
